Student Support

Your admission counselor will introduce you to MSW@Denver, guide you through the application process and connect you with helpful resources. You will be able to ask questions of your admission counselor any time.

You will work with a student support advisor from the moment you enroll. Before you begin your program, you will receive a welcome call, meet with a member of our support team for a program orientation and spend time getting comfortable in the online campus.

Your student support advisor is available to guide you through the program and the enrollment process. Your academic advisor will help you track your progress and ensure the program is meeting your goals. Tech support is available 24/7 to assist with technical problems that may arise.

Your field placement specialist will work with you to find internship sites near your community that align with your interests and meet your career goals. Throughout your internship you will be supervised by a qualified, professional social worker.

You will work with professionals at the University of Denver’s career development office to prepare for your career in social work. A career services coordinator is available to conduct mock interviews, improve and refine your résumé and provide writing recommendations for your cover letter.

You will be invited to the University of Denver’s commencement ceremony on campus where you will officially join our alumni network of 8,000 social change-makers worldwide. From then on, you will have access to all the alumni benefits of GSSW, including access to continual career services and professional development workshops.
